Platy Flick Or Rub

I was wondering is it "normal" for fish to flick or rub off of objects within the tank now and then?? they seem to do this not so often but it makes me wonder about ich? they don't show any signs of it though and they been doing this for about a month. thanks!

i have never noticed any of mine do it before, is it just one or multiple fish doing it? keep a close eye out for any signs ich

they don't all do it, although i have seen others do it in the past. thinking of treating the tank with ich med but i want to wait for physical signs.

Flicking across plants and bogwood, or even swimming upside down over sand are signs. Better to treat now incase. Treating won't do anything to your fish accept heal them.
