Platy Fish Pooping A Lot?

I got 3 red wag and 3 mickey mouse platys yesterday and they have been pooping a lot ever since! is this normal for platies? i have only fed them two times since they came and they started pooping before i fed them i think something's wrong!

Firstly, they will produce more waste when they are stressed out, which is normal from transport. Add that to the fact that you've already fed them twice and there's the reason for all the waste. I'm sure nothing is wrong but just make sure you don't over feed them. Only feed as much as they can eat in 30 seconds. No food should fall to the bottom and be left sitting there. Abnormal waste are stringy and white which can be a sign of parasite or bacterial infection.
