Hi Everyone,
I'll post the "consult form" below, but briefly: I noticed my Mickey Mouse platy (female) swimming around with a strange white, fuzzy mass coming out of her back end last night. Didn't see any worms, just the mass. She looked otherwise fine, and I thought stupidly that she was having trouble giving birth... This morning she was dead. I've looked on the Web and can't find much, except that perhaps it is the Camellanus worm...? I just ordered some Jungle anti-parasite food and am worried sick about the other platies and my BN pleco, though they haven't shown any strange signs except some stringy poops.
Sorry, no photo of her. Thanks for any advice. Oh! And I can't get this from siphoning, right? I saw something on the Web that said humans could get it...
THANK YOU!
