Anyone know what might be wrong you can see her bum open, could this be constipation (severe) or a failed birth?

Is there any way i can help her?

It is possible that she is having problems with giving birth but i would say that is more likely to be an internal bacteria infection such as dropsy. if the fish is swimming on its side it may already be too late to treat but you can always try and hope for the best!!!

Lots of variety

Bloodworm maybe 2 or 3 times per week
Flake about once or twice per week
Discus Granular once or twice per week
Brineshrimp occasionally
Catfish pellets occasionally
Hikari Carniverous Food sticks, occasionally whats left after beta has eaten
Pea maybe once a fortnight
Hikari Micropellets once per week

Hmm, the diet is good, IDK why that's happening. Maybe try giving them a fast one day a week. That's always good for them.

I think it may be an internal infection. I hope you do frequent water changes to keep the water good.

Could be constipation, ease off on the bloodworms. I've seen too frequent feeding of these leading to constipation & bloat.

Try some epsom salt in the water, start with 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons of water, increasing by a teaspoon daily to 3 teaspoons per 10 gallons. This will help if it is constipation, and won't hurt if it isn't.

Tolak

I would not use salt, it will kill the oto and frog and damage the tetras, and to be honest, i don't see how it could help the constipation as constipation is either diet related or bacterial in origin and salt will not help either of these.

Anyways...
Your fish diet is good, but it is lacking some what in veg based foods in comparsion to how many high protein foods you are giving your fish, all common livebearers need a good mix of ved in their diet, i would increase the pea feedings to once a week plus also drop an algae wafer or peice of cucumber in the tank once or twice a week as well, this will help prevent constipation alot in your fish.
Are the platy's scales sticking out at all?

Thx for advice, i have now found out that it was a bad pregnancy, that seems to have caused constipation, i purchased a floating breeding trap, and put the fish in it, 24 hrs later she did a massive poo!!! and today i came back to find approx 10 aborted young in the bottom of the breeder

I think the floating Breeding trap saved her as the stress from the other fish i think was making it worse, anyway she's now desperate to get out with the other fish, but will keep her in there another 24 hrs just to make sure + feeding small quantaties of Pea to help clear her out a bit

So thanks for the advice everyone, and i hope this information comes in useful for someone in the future :)
