Platy Bloated And Swimming On Its Side

Woke up this morning and a perfectly healthy platy has ballooned and looks like its about to die, down by its rear fin you can actually see that what looks like its bum is wide open, it now seems to be struggling and swimming sideways

Could this fish have been giving birth and hit complications, i had another platy die m,msteriously that i thought had only just given birth, can this happen?

Is there anything i can do?

Anything prutruding form the enlarged anus, is the bum also red and inflamed.

nope nothing at all, you can see sort of like 2 holes tho that are open, i'm guessing one is where the young come from, she is really bloated, but i have purchased a floating breeding trap and she seems to have pirked up a little now, maybe the other fish were stressing her, i know she's had her tail nipped quite badly

I guess i just sit and wait

Just thought i would let u all know my platy is making a full recovery, came back from work to find approx 10 aborted young at the bottom of the breeding chamber, i think the purchasing of this has saved my fish, so thx for advice

BTW its a Marina floating Breeding Trap, and its absolutely fantastic, one of the best purchases so far
