Platy Birth!

Yesterday was my mom's birthday and my sunburst platy gave birth! I grabbed the camera and sat in front of the tank for over 2 hours! She had 12 fry in total!

Here's a picture of the momma platy the day before she gave birth.

Guess what Sasha? Yesterday my Mommy guppy gave birth to 12 fry as well!! It's the first time I got to watch a birth...I actually saw 2 come out!! It was so beautiful!!

They are so cute and would you believe it but they are already showing off to eachother it's hillarious!!

Last week I moved the female platy into my 2.5 gallon tank because I knew that she would be giving birth soon. A few days later, I went to look on her and discovered a tiny fry hiding under the breeding grass. That was when I grabbed my camera and took those pictures. They are so adorable!
