Hi all,

I have a 70L stocked with the following:

3x endler
3x dwarf chain loach
5x galaxy rasbora
1x red wagtail platy
1x blue Mickey Mouse platy

All fish seem happy, but the red play seems to spend a lot of time away from the rest of the fish, often choosing the top corner of the tank and staying there rather still for quite a while.

At feeding he seems to wait for all the other fish to finish, and then comes out and eats all leftovers?

At night one also stays at the surface very still often for several hours.

Having said this I do occasionally catch him swimming mid/low tank amongst plants and with the other fish.

Is this cause for concern?

Does he have any signs of labored breathing? Have you ever caught any of your other fish bullying him? Water stats? He could just be timid but until further experience comes those questions should help.
