platy and swordtails

can i put all the male platies and swordtails together?im scared that they fight.Do they need a lot of plants?Wad plants can stand harsh condition, reproduce fast and most of all cheap!!

ye sure i used to anyway and they were fine,plants that can stand harsh conditions mmm plastic plants lol, reproduce fast neary all live plants i think, cheap mmmm depends where you get them from.

There could be some aggression there...how many of each were you thinking of putting in, and what size tank? I assume no females, correct?

Harsh conditions...Java Fern, Java Moss, Water Sprite, and Amazon Swords come to mind. Those are pretty hardy plants. Cheap depends which store you go to, but Java Moss and Water sprite are usually pretty cheap.

Usually swordtail males always like to be King of the tank, nipping all the other fish at feeding and hoging all the tank space...well thats how my swordtails always used to be, but you could try it
