Platy and me!

Hello,

I'm new here

I own a 125L tropical fish tank that has been a delight to put together, I mainly work in the auto trade but when I relax I like to see my Platy and also count there number as they seem to breed like nothing I have ever seen before.

My main reason for joining this forum is to get advice and tips.

I would like to know, However, what shrimp I can put with my Platy. My tank is fully cycled and running at 23C.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Any small species of shrimp should be fine, just make sure they come from water with a pH that is similar to the pH in your tank. Shrimp will eat baby platies so you should be aware of that if you are trying to breed platies.

If you want a cheap shrimp to try, look for glass or ghost shrimp. Many pet shops sell them as feeder shrimp but they also do well in aquariums.
