platy and guppy

i'm new here so please bare with me if i ask dumb questions. here's the thing i have 3 regnant platies, and one guppy. only one of the platies is really huge (her belly is very VERY round) and she has a white spot (no it's not ich, i'm sure of that )on the back, actually underneath her belly fin, and my question is how long till she has them? she's been that round for about 2 weeks now, i seems she's getting bigger every day! is there anything i should watch for when she's about to pop? i can tell u this, she is either on the sandy bottom, or is in the bushy plants...

now the female guppy, i thought this little lady would have her babies 10 days ago!!! if i look closely i can see the eyes of the lil ones, in her belly. she's square and same as with the guppy either in the bushy plants or on the bottom in her " sand nest"??? oh yeah and during her pregnancy she grew to the size of my lampeye killiefish! so not only does she have a big belly she grew in lenegth too!

if any of u know what i should be watching for, any signs anything at all

both types of fish have fry every 28-30 days or so. If you have had them for a couple of weeks and they are square in the back then they will have fry at any time now. For my fish they often get quite active (swim up and down the tank), they get very cranky (cant stand anyone near them) then all of a sudden they get very still and then with a quick flick out comes the fry. They may do this over the period of several hours or even a couple of days before they are finished. Hope That Helps

tnx for your help. now they r in the " i can't stand anybody near me " phase. a tiny red balloon mollie is chasing the female platy and she seems so annoyed by him! lil guy really doesn't give up, i call him George Costanza (the guy from seinfeld, J. Alexander) for obvious reasons, pesky lil twerp ha haaaa

about 4 weeks
