Hi all, I've been observing one of my platties for the last couple of days and has her mouth open wide all the time. At first i thought she might of swollowed a fairly large fry, snail or pebble, but i cannot see any obstruction. If anyone can help that would be great!...Cheers!

Have you checked your water? Your water may have a problem. Take a sample to your LFS that does water tests and see what they say.

hmmm strange, is she showing any signs of disease, fungus or anything like that. Is she eating and pooping normally? Is she swimming around and otherwise behaving in a normal manner? Are any other fish in the tank picking on her?
