well my micky mouse platty look really fat after i was watching my fish today i noticed she was fat now i have had a pergnant micky mouse platty before but you could see the little dots of eye ball and iunno she just seemed to like poof with this fattness could se just be bloated i have fry in a tank a 5.5 gal should i just put her in there you dont think sheel eat my fry so usome of the fry r this big ---- and some are ------ that big would that be ok or could she just be bloated

I wouldn't put her in with the fry, just incase something is wrong with her.
Is she acting normaly? (eating, pooping, etc?) Do her scales look like they are sticking out (this can be a sign of dropsie...dropsey...or however you spell it!)

nope she is plenty fine. i know fish. lol. i have a breeding net, but if shes not a lil prego i dont want to streess her for no reason. i have an empty 10 gallon but if i were to set it up it would take a while to cycle and i dont wanna have to chase the fry around the tank and up root my new plants n stuff i hate doin that

You can't see the eyes in the gravid spot until the fry are pretty far along...does she have a gravid spot? And is it getting bigger?

Also, what have you been feeding her? If she's been getting lots of high-protein foods, she could be constipated, or bloated. What are the water params? :)

It's hard to say whether she would eat the fry or not...some will, some won't. Do the fry look too big to fit in her mouth?

no thats what is so weird. the other one did but this one is the size of a pregnant plattie and its a pretty small fish. about 1.5-2 in

every think in the tank is fine and shes poopin ok too and eatin well they get fed flakes 2 times a day 1 in morning and 1 at night and about 2-3 times a week i let them skipp a meal in case they been over fed

No gravid spot? If I'm thinking of the right color, she's kinda orangish, no? If so, it can be very hard to see the gravid spot, because it isn't black or brown. It's usually a few shades lighter or darker, so it's not easy to see. If you look closely, can you see it? And any idea how long she's been pregnant?

Also, Platies only get to 1.5-2" max, so she's probably full grown. :)

no clue how long she has been pregnant i have male in the tank but i just got her about 2 weeks ago from petco ill go doubble check on the gravid spot tho so brb

Then you just probably can't see it, as all female Platies have a gravid spot, pregnant or not. :) You'll just have to go by how fat she is. I'd keep an eye on her, though, to make sure she's doing okay and doesn't have any disease.

alright thanx if she has babies oh well more to the collection it just takes so long to scoop them all out
