Platty fry

My Platty is going to give birth in maybe 1-3 days, and I was wondering if I should let the fry swim free because it is a heavily planted tank and there are lots of hiding spots, or should I trasfer her to another tank and let her give birth there?
I was asking beacause I don't want her to get stressed out and maybe die so I need some info. Thanks

If she's that far along in her gestation period, then just leave her be. You won't save as many fry and won't be able to feed them properly, but they should do well, nonetheless. Next time make sure you move her a week before the drop date so she doesn't get too stressed out if you want to save all the fry.

I was thinking that maybe when she gives birth that I could try to catch the fry and put it in my 5 gallon if they are still alive by then.

That's ok. You'll probably save more that way and will be able to feed and care for them better.
