Hello. I've got 2 female and one male plattie. THe two females are as plump as eachother. I know when they're pregnant or due that they get gravid spots. Above the anal fin, mine are darker but not black, just a bit darker than the rest of their body. Would they be gravid spots or just a need to go toilet . How do I tell the difference. Does the gravid spot get really dark or just a bit noticeable??
I'd really appreciate some advice cause I'd love to breed them.

With my platies....when they are about to give birth (about a week before) I can see the eyes in their bellies....which is what is known as the gravid spot....they look likes dots in their bellies (kinda creepy)....also...they get SOOO fat that I wonder how they manage to keep upright in the water

yeah i got one thats like that now but this danm male platy keeps bothering her for u kno what o well as soon as she gives birth they can get it on hehe
