Platties & Guppies

Do platties & guppies get along well in the same tank? I have some aquarium salt in my platy tank - do guppies tolerate this?

Hi Michele, I have platies and guppies together in both my 30 and 10 gallon tanks. They get along great and both like salt added to their water, so you should be fine. Have fun with them! ~Nancy~

I agree even though I don't own platties, both species seem relatively peaceful anyway. I've added salt in with my guppies and no problems have arose either
