Platies What Are They?

Got two Platys today (Tiger & Bunny) one looks like a Tuxido not sure what the other is?
They like the bottom of the tank and are more lively with exploring and eatting excess food left from the red cap!
I really like them and swim quite fast.

He looks like a mix of sunset and tuxedo, or just sunset with black freckles.
 
I love livebearers too because they are so lively!

I have a yellow and black spotted one (well several since it has had babies and I kept a few!  LOL)  I call mine a yellow calico.  I found that as a common description when trying to google to find what mine was called.

Yes I like their colour and livelyness the big tank was just empty without more fish and very enjoyable to watch them dart up and down for food!
Just read they only live for 3-4 years is this true?

I have one identicle to the top poc but mine was a high fin that spawned about a dozen beautiful high fin fry for me. The irridescent scales will only become more frequent on that fush. Very cool.

The second is a sunset diluted tuxedo. Just a spotty sunset. Cute!

Doing well, and the colours are very nice, But I bought two females as I don't think I'm ready to be a dad a third time around. I'm off on hoilday and there is a street where they sell nothing but fishy equipment and I fear I will be bringing more back than arriving with.

I saw one of those in the LFS today labelled as a 'gold leopard spot' or something similar.  Not sure if they just made that up!

Interesting Daize I'm sure there are many crazy names after all I call them Tiger and Bunny LOL!
They grown on me quiet abit and like the fact they use all of the tank whilst my Oranda red cap stays in one corner unless its feeding time?

From what I gather once you get into aquariums you only go bigger and bigger ....and bigger. Lol.
