I heard that if you have 1 swordtail male and 1 swordtail female and they are both different colour they are still going to breed and their babies are going to be a mix of both parents' collours...is that true first of all? Do platies do that???
i have never had my platyys and swords imbreed like that but , i have heard of it , but u dont knwo if soemoen is telligna far fetched lie , but anythign can happen
I have a male platy/swordtail cross and he's a bright cherry red with a little black on his fins. My friend (who is a fish breeder and raised him) has his sister and she looks exactly like him, although he body is shaped more like a swordtail. I could never get my swordtails and platies to breed, so I never had a sword/platy fry.
