I recently bought 8 platies, 2 males, and 6 females, who are now living with my angelfish, and a couple of tetras. The tank is well planted, but I've read a lot about angels being crazed baby killers. I put some really bushy plants around most of the tank that he can't fit in, but will it be enough to save some fry, because I'm not home for a majority of the day? 4 of the platies already have a gravid spot, and one looks like it will blow up. Is there any hope for the fry?

fry are good at hiding, but i`vew kept mollys in with angels and there fry have never survived

Should I return the angel? I'm not home from 9-3, so I can't do much if the babies are born then.

or you could just leave it up to darwinism,
you`ve provided the fish with hiding places, keep your eyes out for more, i`ve known floating balls of elodia densa and hornwort to work well as fry nests,

what size tank is it?

Angels aren't crazed baby killers. They will try to eat any fish, fry or adult, if they think it will fit in their mouth because they are cichlids. If it's a small angel, the fry stand a better chance. The more hiding places the better chance the fry have.

Well, thanks all that helped. I went to the store and bought the most bushy plants I could see and put them in as much of the tank I could without taking up too much space. Oh and it's a 65 gallon. I've kept platies and angels before, but not together.
