Platies And Compatability

I currently have a community tank with one female betta, one male platie, one female platie, one semi-grown female platie, and 1 baby platie, and a pleco. I would like to get some Hatchet Fish, but i was wondering about there compatability with the Platies and betta.... anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Hmmm... I think you want to ask the (relatively few) people with experience of hatchet fish, in the cyprinids forum. My first thought was that the hatchets might be a bit too active for the betta. But I know very little about hatchets.
