Be keen to know about this too - I''m about to do the same and I've read some contradictory advice. I've read that plants help introduce the right bacteria into the tank so are good for a fishless cycle. I've also read that if you're adding pure ammonia you should wait to put plants in 'till the cycle is finished.
Ive' been fishless cycling for weeks, but about 10-12 days ago I added plants and they've been doing great. Personally I'd wait till ammonia levels go down.
As above. Ive been doing same. But 11days into Ive added an Egeria Densa and an Anubia barteri. They appear to be doing fine. Ive got a laterite in the substrate also.
