I just purchased two medium sized amazon swords to battle my high nitrate problem. They have only been in for about 4 hours, and already just about every leaf has a bite out of it, and one is almost completely gone! Which fish are responsible for it? Also, if a fish eats one plant, will it eat all plants?

My tank:
3 clown loaches (who eat everything..think these are the culprits  )
4 Apistos
2 Bala Sharks
8 Bloodfin Tetras
3 Black Line Tetras

These are te only fish who have been in the tank with the plants. Could it just be that one, or more, of them is just testing it out and will leave the rest of it alone? I don't want my live plant expedition to have been a waste of money, and I need these nitrates down! (Water changes aren't helping).

Thanks in advance!

It's your clown loaches 100%
I've caught mine munching on my grass, sword, banana plants but they don't touch others. They don't eat the whole leaf though, just small bites that annoyed me a lot, especially when the plants were starting out. All you can do is stop caring

Wonderful :X That was who I expected it'd be. One leaf is almost gone...I just hope they are through, and that the plant will still be there in the morning  ! Let's hope these clowns allow me to plant my tank.
