How often should you change the plants in your tank.I have 2 in my 60l and the leaves are starting to look like over-ripe banana skins except green.Have been in about 3 1/2 months alongside 4 corys,3 guppies,3 neon tetras and 2 honey gouramis.Thank you in advance, Bruce.

If you buy suitable plants and look after them properly, never.

Can you tell us what your plants are, or post a photo so that we can ID them? Also, how many watts are your light tubes, what is the volume of the tank and how many hours are the lights on for?

Ah, that was you with the photo! You might want to try having only one lighting period as well, so say, 3 pm to 11 pm, that might also help.
