Plants?

hey people!

i would like some java moss or some sort of moss that will be nice in my tank what can you reccomend and where can i get it because my LFS is usless!

also i want some plants that will grow no more than a foot in height and that dosent mean loads of maintenance and co2 setup want, something that is about 10cm is hight dont want something that will be right to the top of my tank, because im doing a moss wall for a background and dont want the tank too full of plants just want moss wall some sort of middle sized plants and a moss carpet and maybe a bit of phillipine fern?

You could always try ebay for java moss or other types of mosses. For me ebay was significantly cheaper than my LFS. Also you can try and find someone from your area on these forums that might be able to sell/give you some.

as far as making a moss wall or moss carpet check out Jimboooo's step by step guide from this forum
 
thanks torone, i have seen it on ebay but dont trust it 100% so was asking folk if they could provide me with some sites and advice.....also what plants they reccomend thats are around 10cm ish size because i dont want plants that are right to the top of the tank! hope some folk on here can help

I'm not a plant expert but I can recommend Plants Alive; http://www.plantsalive.co.uk/index.php
I've had plants from them and was very happy.
 
I can recommend "The Green Machine" for all plants and for helping choose plants you can't go wrong with a site called plantgeek where you can choose from ease of growing, tank placement, light requirements etc and it will come back with a specific list for you.

Weeping moss? That looks good, beter than Java!
 
Some of the ebay sellers should have some, espeially the ones sending from Malaysia. It won't be next day delivery but the plants I've had from there are all fine when they arrive and the moss is cheap enough too.
