Hello would someone help me please, I have an aquarium 125 litres, which is about 7 weeks old. Inhabiting the waters are 7 very small tetra's, 4 small guppies and 3 cory's all seeming very happy. However my plants which are still growing have developed brown spots, am I right in believing it is algae? I have put some flora boost in the water. Will they recover or should I just replace them?

Thank you

Hey glug :)

It may be that the plants are not getting enough light - they will sometimes rot or die. What kind of plants are they, and how much lighting do you have?

By the way, this question would get more answers in the Plants and Planted Tanks section :good:

Hello again, thanks for replying. Sorry I dont know the names of the plants but a couple are tall and leafy, three are small and a redish colour, two have small round leaves and there are three or four grassy type. They are all rooted. There are two strip lights which came with the tank.

I didnt realise about the different sections, this is my first post and it took me ages to work out how to send it!
