can any one tell me some good plants and how much i should put in my 3 foot tank that comes tuesday i can not wait to get some fish in it

If you go to the planted section theres a pinned topic that covers the basics of alot of common aquatics plants as far as amount, the sky's the limit!

As SJ2K says, there is a good pinned topic in the planted tank section for plants. How are you planning on cycling your tank? I presume that you know about cycling? I would strongly advise a fishless cycle, as they are quicker, and also don't expose your fish to toxins while your filter starts to do its job.
