Well what types of plants you can have depends on how much light you have. here some info on lighting

thank you we have bought 2 fluorescent bulbs in a 27.5 gallon tank.

ive seen cambomba aquatica in the fish shop.

can the fish eat this?

which plants can be eaten ?

Well, it's a bit unattractive but it is a truly excellent oxygenator plant. It will rapidly grow agressively and may cover all the light (bad if you have rooted plants). My guppies and goldfish likes to nibble on these when it's not feeding time.

I have Elodea Densa in my tank and it really does grow very quickly.

I just keep trimming the ends off to keep it under control and so it gets
bushier lower down the stem.
