I posted this in emergency's, but I thought I'd try here as well.
I recently was given a copy of:
"Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Aquarium Technical reference Booklet featuring the Professional Guide for the Fish Retailer for the Minimizing Fish Loss"
Under the ICK treatment guide it says to use "Super Ick Cure", add salt and raise the aquarium temp etc etc.
Most of us know the Super Ick Cure will harm Invertebrates and scaleless fish, and the instructions say to use a half dose in aquariums that contain either.
What about live plants?
Will Super Ick Cure harm plants?
Yea, my new baby goldie I bought on saturday has got Ick.
Anyways, I've quarantined the goldie, but I was wondering if it would be advisable to medicate the main tank with SIC as well?
I've havent had a case of Ick since I first started keeping fish over 2 1/2 years ago.
