I'm just wondering whether you guys know of any nice looking plants that will thrive in harder water. The water in my area is really hard and I'm sure this is affecting the plants I have at the moment, I dose the tank with plant food on a 2 weekly basis and I'm always chopping and changing my plants as they just die. I'm not too sure why as I've got a nice bright light in my tank thats on for at least 10 hours a day, figured may be the water hardness.
However, I have two varieties of moss in my tank which is really thriving
-Could it be the hardness of the water affecting my plants?
-What plants thrive in hard water?
-Any ideas on what I could do to sort this out? (been told about a CO2 system, but don't know where to start) My tank is 220L.
Cheers for taking the time to read.
