is there any plants that grow good in sand and what are they

Vallis, cryptocorynes (there are lots of different species with different shaped and coloured leaves), pygmy chain sword, and Amazon swords all do well in my sand tanks. You can also grow Java fern, anubias and mosses tied to rock or wood

i think you can grow any plants in sand if you dose the water column / have the other needs for them

It is said to be easier to grow carpeting plants as op[posed to gravel.
