Im trying to find some plants that will do good growing on my back wall pile of rocks.... in the gaps n such...
Medium hight type of plants....
As you can see, my back wall is a bunch of rocks stacked up(some glued just to make sure they stay there).
As you can see, most of my plants are quick growers, but now that my tank is jammin along, id like to pull some of the fast boys out and put in some nicer plants....
But i need to find some that will be alright with being 'stuck' into the holes between the rocks...
I prefer Bright colored plants.. :)
Here what my back rock wall looks like....
Any thoughts?

I am slowing loving Java Fern. They look fabulous when they grow bigger and are bushy.

But they may be classed as darkly colored plants.

they are great IMO

anubias...and there are different varieties. You may need to tie down until it takes hold though.

If i had that many rocks i would have to think about moss growing over some of them, there are lots of different types.

actually...yes...moss is a great idea. I always hated java moss. thought it was ugly. but a few months ago my LFH gave me some for free. For ages it did bugger all and grows a lot of black brush algae on it, but after a couple of 3 day blackouts the stuff is thriving!! The bits that arent covered in algae are lovely green and I really like it now :)
