Plants Out Of Water

I just bought a couple of plants and a small piece of aquatic wood from petco. These were both in their tanks. How long can I keep these out of water without damaging them? They are currently bagged in those same plastic bags that they give you the fish in.

I would say about an hour possibly 2 or untill they start to look droopy and dry but not dead lol

I am pretty sure that you can grow these plants out of water as well as in water.

as long as the plants are kept moist (from being sealed in a plastic bag) and the bag isn't in the sun so the plants don't get cooked, they should be fine for a day without too many problems.
