hi, just got a second hand aqua one tank thats a whopper at 318lts!

gonna decorate it this weekend with bogwood, graval and sand but is
it a good idea to place plants in there now (about 2 weeks before i put any
hardy fish in!?!

or would i need to buy products to keep the plants going?

cant wait!

thanks for your time

love you :good:

You can add plants any time. I like to add them first so they can settle in a bit before the fish are added.
All plants do best if given some sort of food. Iron based plant fertilisers are a good start and will make a big difference to their long term health. Good lighting is also a prerequisite.

I would say that lighting is the main ingredient for good plant growth. Aim for around 2W per gallon.
