the first pic has a couple of swordplants on top of each other. The little bit of plant next to them looks like Java Fern and the other one I have no idea. Any chance of a pic of it underwater where the leaves can open up and look normal.
Swords are pretty hardy and will grow in most tanks but they grow pretty big about 12 inches high and in diameter.

2nd pic from the left, elodia, small plants top middle are crytpocoryns of some sort, and narrow vallis is the long reedy one on the right. Don't know what the middle bottom is.
Elodia is real easy to grow but grows tall and needs pruning on occassions. Crypts are low growing and used at the front of the tank. Narrow vallis grows to about 2ft and spreads by runners. Elodia and vallis are good plants and do well under most conditions.

3rd pic in the middle, tall green plant is a hygrophilla of some sort. Hygrophillas are easy to carew for and love light and fertiliser but do well in low light conditions too. Most grow to about 12inches high and can be propogated by cuttings.

4th pic plant on right is spiral or twisted vallis. This grows to about 18inches high and needs a bit of light and fertiliser. It spreads by runners and is a slower grower than narrow vallis.

5th pic bacopa on left and another type of Hygrophilla on right.
Bacopa grows in some tanks but not others. It does well in shallow ponds where it grows across the surface and will flower. Give it lots of light and see how it goes.

6th pic plant on right is Ludwigia natans, not sure about plant on left. Ludwigia is a good plant and grows up to 4ft long. It tolerates most conditions and can be grown from cuttings about 10inches.

7th pic duno

8th pic plant on right with purple on bottom and green on top of leaf is purple waffle and is a marsh plant so probably won't do that well. It grows to about 8incges high and is bushy. Some people grow it successfully but others don't.

last pic plant on left looks like Cabomba. It can be difficult to grow but sometimes does really well. It grows to about 4ft long and can be grown from cuttings. It loves light and iron fertiliser.

thanks a lot :good: I havent used up all my plants as i wanted a swimming space to see my fish  Ive used at least 1 of every plant and all vallis, swords and some others.

Will try to grow the hard plants but ill replace with cutting of the other plants if they fail. How is the best way to go about cuttings?

wait until the plants have grown and are well established, then cut the stems with a pair of sharp scissors or a knife. Try to make the cuttings about 8-12inches long, but they usually do ok if they are only 5-6inches long. Then just plant the cuttings into the gravel and they should take root within a couple of weeks.
