Plants Growing A Bit What Do I Do?

I have alot of these plants in my tank that have grown out of controle!!!

Look!!!!

If i cut the top off will it still grow? does it sprout new growth in a V ??

I'm not to hot on plants and there names.

I think that is hygrophilia polysperma? Known for rampant growth!

Best bet is to cut off a nice length from the top, remove the bottom section, then replant the bit you cut off. his keeps the fresh new growth and removes the older stuff. It will continue to grow, I have to cut and replant my stuff on a weekly basis, though I have different plants to you.
