hello :) what plants do you recommend for pleco killers aka tetras (bloodfin and silvertip)? i have 2 silvertip (one died) and 3 bloodfins. i have a 47 gallon that i need to fill (don't worry, i'll get like 16ish more)
if you wondering why im saying pleco killers look at the below, if you dont, dont look at the below.

i was checking on my BN pleco the other day, and it was in its usial hide, but it had died(most likely from stress), even worse all of its gut were hanging out and most of its skin was pealed of... sorry @PlasticGalaxy

I don't seen an image, but I highly suspect that there is more to the story.

What is your tank stocking, what are your water parameters?

Unless it was a 1/2 inch baby, I do not think the tetra's would be able to kill a pleco. I've never seen any fish but a highly aggressive Cichlid even try to beat up a pleco.

my NO2 is 20, my hardness is 25, total chlorine is 0, total KH is 80, and my ph is 7.8

it was really small for a BN

Pretty sure it was @Byron who said that the tetras wouldn't have killed the pleco. Eaten it, yes, but I doubt they killed it.

Other members suggested this, and I agreed. But to the plant question, any plants that are suited to your light (primarily) will work. Sword plants should do well. The larger species, and chain sword for the substrate perhaps. Floating plants always benefit forest fish by providing shade, plus they are "ammonia sinks."

Your nitrates are pretty high, I would recommend a water change.

What is the stocking of your tank beyond the tetras?

All of that aside, If your lighting is good I would recommend swords, anubis and some floating plants like hornwort.
