setting up a small 5 gal tank. i want to have a mix of live and fake plants. i want about 4 to 6 live ones. what would be some nice plants that would work in a small tank with gravel? want a couple with nice fat/rounded leaves, and maybe some that are tall and grass like (tall narrow leaves, not stemmed really). (its for a dwarf puffer. want some live plants to keep the snail population up!).

also, just how does one go about maintaining live plants in an aquarium? how do you trim them? it isn't areal tall tank after all......

thanks!!!!

Sag Natan is a good grass looking plant but you'll have to get a lot for it to cover you gravel completely. I have another plant that fits the description that you are looking for but for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it. Sorry! Good luck with everything else.
