Plants Brown And Upgrade Lighting

I want to upgrade the lighting in my jewel trigon 190 and would like some advice please. I have seen these Arcadia I-Bars High Intensity Lighting they are a straight swap for the standard one and offer t5 lighting would that be ok for tropical fish? Sorry im a bit of a newbie

My tank has been going about 1 month now and my plants have started to go like (see pic below) why is that happening any ideas?

I have added some plant food to the water but no better

Either your photoperiod is a bit on the high side(>10hours) or the photoperiod needs to be reduced for the light intensity. I could be wrong though.

yeah it could be tank light has been on longer than 10 hours for the last few weeks
