that co2 is a good unit, and what plants

do you have. are you putting feerts in the

tank and what kind of substance do you have?

I'm sure some of the plant geniuses can help you out but...
1.How many gallons is your current tank?
2. How many watts is your light setup?
3. What kind of plants are they?
4. What kind of substrate do you have? i.e. gravel, sand, laterite
5. Are you using any types of fertilizers? (if so, at what doseage?)
6. The thing on ebay is a co2 unit. Depending upon the above factors it may or may not be necessary. You also have to be careful with co2 if there are fish in your tank. Not knowing how much to use could result in the death of your fish. CO2 can aid in plant growth but there are many other factors that play an equally important role. These questions should help people figure out what needs to be done to keeping your plants healthy and growing. Good luck.

My first thought is that a hexagon tank lacks the required lighting to grow most plants due do it's shape.

The Nutrafin units are suitable for smaller tanks - 20 Gallons or less. Any more volume than this and you'll need to use multiple units.

Read the pinned lighting and CO2 articles for more info.
