Well since having the CO2 system installed the plants are over the moon, My tank is just full of beads of air buble comming out of the plants. so i takr it the plants are happy.

But since this i have a type of algae going in the tank and im not sure if it is good or bad.

the algae is like a dark green wool in texture . I also have the standard bright grass green coloured algae but not much of it. as the fish love eating it.

the only thing i woried about is the wool type algea

I would say, keep taking as much of the algae out of the tank as poss, once the plants really take hold and are growing like mad, the algae should find it hard to be prolific.

You may need to add more plants, if you have a high light wattage and plenty of fertilizers going but not many plants the algae will use any Co2 and plant fert thats going spare.

You will always get algae, its only natural, but if you see it you should try and remove it, as soon as you can, that way it wont be such a hard job if its left for so long and you minimize the possible damage it has on your plants.

Its a matter of balance. :good:

thanks for that. i think i will just have to wait ontil the plants grow out a bit more. The algae is really easy to get off as it just falls off in your hands
