Anyone ever tried the plants sold on Ebay? - most other things on ebay seem to be okay - not too sure about plants in the post though, anyone tried it?

Also, would the following work / be ok in a 40 UK gallon tank

10 Neon Tetras, 8 guppies, 6 platies, 6 swords, 4 mollies, and 4 corys (obviously not all at once!)

I've brought plants from ebay was quite a while ago but was a selection of them, Got them next day through the post, small when i first got them and took a week to spead out again. Since then i've never looked back, having to trim them regulary and never showed signs of dying.

Must better than the ones i got from my LFS and 1/2 the price. For the amout it costs go for it! i brought from aquatic_plants_uk but i guess it depends in what your after.

I've also bought quite a lot of plants from ebay, from the same place. Only one problem with one type of plant - it was a bit mashed up in the post. Once I told the guy he replaced it with something else of my choice.

I think it's OK, cos ebay sellers are keen to please customers and get positive feedback reports.

i think ebay is a great to get plants and never been a problem for me , always been healthy and done well after ive got them, and much less expensive as im always changeing my tank around and throwing away old plants , so its much less expensive in the long run.

yes i think that will work very well in a 40 gal but make sure with the live bearers to get a ratio of 2:1 or even better 3:1 of males and females

Forgot about this on my original list - would i be pushing it to add a male siamese FF
