Plants always floating

hi can anyone help me as my plants always seem to float they have the wire stuff on the bottem and my fishtank is sand not gravel what can i do to keep them down

get some large stones and make sure you do the vinegar test, lie the plant root/stem at an angle in the sand and hold it down with the stone works for me

Most LFS sell plants with lead strips to weigh the plants down, there are plastic coated ones of these if you don't fancy putting lead in your tank.

This is what I use in my tank with sand and I've never had floating plants.

How deep is your sand?
1 inch, 2 inch?
I know when I had 1-2 inches of sand it wasnt enough for the plants to stay put.
Could also be that your plants dont have any roots, or at least not very long ones?
Have you been moving them around a lot lately?
Maybe some crazy fish uprootin' them?
Try the stones method, usually works until the plants can anchor themselves.
