Ok, so i'm going to be venturing into the realms of a planted aquarium, namely my 20 gallon high. I recently switched out my larger white gravel for some finer and more natural looking brown and tan gravel. Here's what I'm planning, so tell me whatcha think: :D

Lightiing: 1 65 watt tube 6700K

Substrate: Standard fine gravel

Co2: nutrafin

Fertilizer: Seachem root tabs

Decor: A piece of driftwood

Plant List (tell me if this sounds good and how much of each I should get):
-Anacharis
-Wisteria
-Amazon Sword
-Anubias Coffefolia
-Banana Plant
-Java Fern
-Willow Moss
-Dwarf Acorus
-Aquarium Lily
-Broad Leaf Ludwigia
-Cardamine Creeping Charlie

Looks alright, what fish do you have in it? Also, the tank doesn't seem to be getting alot of light, I think this is because the light is quite a bit above the water surface therefore most of the light is going into the room or reflecting off the water into the room.

That's what I was thinking, I currently have a hood with a fluorescent light in it but I don't know how many watts it is, and how high a wattage bulb I an put in it. The light from these lamps arn't doing very much. I'll probably have to pick up a new hood or one thats just clamps on and rests above the water without a hood tomorrow when I go to buy the live plants.

I currently have 6 zebra danios, 5 tiger barbs, and 1 dwarf red fire gourami.
