Planting Azolla?

Has anyone here tried to secure Azolla to their substrate to make a ground cover? I wonder if you could net it down somehow, I don't know.
I know I'd have to scoop plantletts out of thje tank daily though, lol.
Ive grown it in thick clumps in my ponds, it gets all stuck togther and you have to pull it apart, I wonder if it would stay clumped. Hmm

Maybe try a hair net lol let me know if this is successful cos i have loads of the stuff. Not tried it in tanks though.

I'll have to wait for warmer weather so it covers my pond again, unless i forget first lol. Might be a neat experiment. Remember if it becomes popular I coined it, heheee. The fame is already going to my head, haha.
