When planting a tank can I just plant the pot that they the plants in?
As my fish have found a new game called unplant the plants.

no take them out the pots otherwise the roots cant grow ir will but will grow round the pot, buy some plant weights that just hold themd own

Its there a guide on how to do this as the search will not work for me.

carfully remove the pot, and remove carfully all the planting medium ensuring you dont break any roots, and then plant acrodingly, remembering if the plant has a rhiozome it needs water circulation

It's not a good idea to put plant weights on plant ans then plant them, often they just rot around where the weight is.

What you can do is plant the plants in your own little terrcotta pots with aquatic plant soil in them (or even normal soil if your careful and read up on it), and cover the top of the put with enough gravel or little rocks so the fish cant pull them out.

Thank you I think I will try this way.
