Planting A Bulb?

I just ordered some plants and one of which was a rubra bulb. I have only had experience planting stem plants. My substrate is flourite. What is the proper way to plant the bulb? I currently have it lightly covered with the flouite. some roots are currently showing and i think the plant is starting to emerge but its hard to distinguish from the roots. any help is much appreciated

Just put the roots.. in the substrate and keep most parts out

i put my bulbs down into the sand...and a few days later the thing exploded into a plant looks nice

ye it is very rewarding seeing the bulbs pop up further and further each day
