Just wondering if anyone has ever done this? I was inspired by some photos of a person's outdoor aquarium in Australia. Obviously this isn't possible in the UK. Then I was thinking about other lighting methods and thought about solatubes.
I am not in a position to do this, just wondering if anyone has done this for a planted tank? I found a video of a reef tank partially lit by solatubes but reckon it would be pretty awesome to have a planted tank, purely lit by natural sunlight.
PS. Solatubes are basically tubes which take sunlight from roof into house.
