Planted Tank Shrimp Eating Lizard !

I was suspecting that a house gecko was feasting on the shrimps climbing up my HOB, after a late night round of poker guess what I saw when i got home ?

its 2:30 am here, just went down again to have a look ! and he was back !! tried to get him but daamn geckos are really quick!

no hes not !! thats a common house gecko ! if i catch him il mail him to you ! hahaha

i have an idea if you dont catch him entice him out with either some living insect from your garden or sum vedge mine eats vedge so that 1 might
its worth a try

i dont think he can swim he just hangs there picking on the shrimp going up the filter! no wonder my shrimp population started to decline !!! im going down again !!! im gonna take a look if he is back !

*took a quick snap with my camera phone ! right after i took the picture he zipped away ! sorta like, hey there ! take a picture of me so other people can make fun of you ! hahah

I still cant count the shrimp i got now ! but i sure did notice a decline in the population !

hmmm il try to bait him .. whats a vedge ? a vedge(table) ?

yes lol lettuce works good with my gecko he loves it, if that dont work look for somewhere in your house where u hardley ever go and look for a spider or somthing that moves lol and put it in a seethrough tub and wate till he comes out then grab him.
if that dont work wate till he finishes eating all of your shrimp them he will bugger off lol

just went down, saw him again, well after chasing him for a while with a broom i managed to disorient him... right before I was going to crush him i just couldn't do it.... picked him up and threw him outside... Hope the lizards ok.... il try to modify my hob so that its gecko inaccesible.... sheesh what a night.. time to go to bed

lol, he is cute actually, a not so normal house gecko, really fat! i guess its from eating all those shrimp everyday hahaha
