I've been trying to figure out what I want in my tank which is planted. I got some suggestions from various members and other suggestions. So I want to see if what I'm planning will be alright and if anyone has any suggestions. My tank stats are located in my signature.

2 German Blue Rams
6-8 cories (Any other ideas? And if cories are all right?)
(TRUE) Siamese Algae Eaters (How many would work?)
Or if you have any other suggestions.

To prevent a pointless reply, I'm just trying to figure out what I want. My tank is currently fishless cycling.

You're close to mirroring what I eventually plan to have in my 75 gallon (I just don't have the blue rams yet). Everything there looks good. You could add a couple angels and a school of tetras. If you do that, make sure you get larger bodied tetras so the angels won't eat them. Slim bodied tetras like neons and cardinals would eventually be angel food. If you don't want tetras, a school of almost any peaceful comunittee fish would probably do. As for the SAEs, I have 4 in my 75 gallon and they keep it clean. They also eat sinking shrimp pellets as a suppliment to no algae.

Sounds good to me. I still got some time to figure it out. I really like rams, hopefully I can find some.
