i currently have a 5ft tank which is approx 500 litres.
its been set up as a planted for approx one month and has a selection of swords, cobomba and christmas moss.
Anyways, Im experiancing a little bunch algae on the bog wood.
I understand bunch algae is very much simular to higher plants in terms of its nutrient and light requirements. So how do i remove it without harming the plants? can i "starve" the tank of ferts for a while? add some more stem plants possibly?
The tank has 2.3wpg lighting, with pressurised Co2 along with a laterite substrate.
Is this normal? will it clear?
Im adding a few otocinclus into the tank next week which hopefully will help.
Any help will be appreciated.

take a look at the algae guide in my sig to identify it.

tank dimensions?
Filtration?
Powerheads?
Dosing method - how much, how often?
