Hi :)

Am i right in thinkung that a betta tank would be good for planting heavily with live plants as there is minimal wastle from the fish?
Currently I use king british plant food, the stuff in the tubs with a pippette, for my community tank. Would this also work for the betta tank or do i need a co2 system? If I need a co2 system, what's the average sort of price and ease of use?

thanks :good:

If its working in your com tank then i should think it will also work well in you Betta tank. As long as they get good light too

Sand is fine. Bettas love floating plants, floating watersprite always had my Betta making bubble nests in and around it. Research the plant you intend to get and make sure you have enough lighting for it. I would start off with a beginner hardy plant such as java fern, amazon sword, java moss. You dont need a CO2 system. CO2 systems are to make your plants grow faster, thats all.
